Jonathan Cool

Jonathan brings over 35 years of experience in biotechnology as an entrepreneur, senior manager, investor, consultant, and board member. With international experience in the US, Asia, the EU, UK, and China

Currently, he is the CEO of Ultra High Materials, an early-stage materials sciences company. Previously, he had held senior management positions in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and health care delivery, including Human Genome Sciences, Molecular Devices, Gene Networks, and Biovotion AG

Beyond operational roles, Jonathan was at Bain & Co., and Managing Director of the Cleveland Clinic venture capital fund, and has served on boards of public and private companies and non-profit organizations.

Jonathan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Human Biology with honours (cum laude) and distinction from Stanford University.
